Grace Jung is a dedicated pianist and educator with a vibrant and diverse musical background. Born into a musical family in South Korea, she began studying violin at age five before discovering her passion for the piano at seven. After immigrating to Canada, she earned her RCM ARCT Performer’s Diploma with Honours.
Grace completed her Bachelor of Music at the University of British Columbia, studying under Professor Amanda Chan. She has performed extensively as both a soloist and collaborative pianist, serving with the UBC Symphony Orchestra and Symphonic Wind Ensemble, and working with choirs, concert bands, and musical theatre productions. A highlight of her early career was performing as a concerto soloist with the Vancouver Metropolitan Orchestra.
As a teacher, Grace is committed to creating a joyful, supportive learning environment. She tailors each lesson to the individual student, emphasizing strong technique, musical expression, and a lifelong love of music.

Gordon Yu began playing the piano at the age of four and has pursued music with dedication ever since. He completed his Bachelor of Music at the University of British Columbia, where he studied classical piano under Sara Davis Buechner and Terrance Dawson, and pedagogy with Mark Anderson. After earning his ARCT in Piano Performance, Gordon began his teaching career with a clear mission: to pass on his passion for music and bring out the best in each of his students, just as his teachers did for him.
Gordon’s teaching approach emphasizes not only strong technical foundations but also creativity and musical expression. He strives to inspire and motivate his students, fostering both artistic growth and a lifelong appreciation for music.
Eileen Liu is a Taiwan-born Canadian pianist who began studying piano at the age of six. From an early age, she demonstrated both dedication and talent, participating in numerous music festivals, including the Kiwanis Festivals in Vancouver and Richmond.In 2008, Ms. Liu earned her ARCT diploma with an outstanding mark of 90 and was awarded the ARCT Trophy for Piano for achieving the highest mark in the Richmond branch. In recognition of this accomplishment, she was invited by the Trophy Chairperson to perform at the honours recital for BCRMTA.Ms. Liu completed her Bachelor of Music degree with honours at the University of Victoria, where she studied under Professor Arthur Rowe. She later earned her Master of Music in Piano Performance from the University of Ottawa, studying with Professor Andrew Tunis.An active performer, Ms. Liu has appeared in concerts both as a soloist and as a member of a piano trio. She has also participated in masterclasses with distinguished pianists Jamie Parker and Shoko Inoue.Currently residing in Vancouver, Ms. Liu is dedicated to continuing her musical career through teaching and sharing her passion for classical music with the next generation.

Born into a musical family, Nathalie began her piano studies at the age of five. By seven, she was admitted to the youngest age group at the Conservatory, demonstrating exceptional promise from an early age.
In 2011, Nathalie moved to Vancouver, where her passion for piano flourished under the guidance of celebrated Canadian pianist Patricia Rolston. During this time, she gave her first recital and earned her DipABRSM diploma. She was featured in the annual Concerto Concert at the Richmond Music School for four consecutive years and won First Prize in the Senior Division at the RMS Trophy Piano Competition in 2015.
Later that year, Nathalie continued her studies at the McGill Conservatory under the guidance of pianist Jean-Fabien Schneider. She has received numerous prizes and awards, including First Prize at the Crescendo International Competition in 2015, which led to a performance at Carnegie Hall in early 2016. In the summer of 2017, she performed with the Musicians of the World Symphony Orchestra.
Nathalie later studied with renowned pianist Patricia Hoy and graduated in 2022 with a Bachelor of Music degree from the University of British Columbia.
In addition to her performance career, Nathalie is an active music teacher in the Greater Vancouver area. She began teaching in 2013 and is passionate about inspiring and nurturing the next generation of musicians for years to come.

A third-generation concert violinist, Cristian Herki was destined for the stage. Add to that a rare 200-year-old violin and a repertoire spanning Classical, Jazz, and everything in between, and you have a captivating performer who has thrilled audiences around the world.
Of Romanian-Hungarian descent, Cristian earned both his Bachelor of Arts and Master’s degrees in Music Performance from the Gheorghe Dima National Music Academy.
From intimate venues to international theatres, concert halls, churches, cruise ships, senior residences, and synagogues, Cristian consistently captivates audiences with his exquisite technique and warm, distinctive tone.

Solomon Cheung is a pianist from Vancouver, British Columbia, who began studying music at the age of four under the guidance of his mother. Recognizing his early potential, she introduced him to piano instructor Amanda Chan, under whom Solomon progressed rapidly, completing his RCM Level 10 in just seven years.
After a brief hiatus from formal classical training, Solomon continued to nurture his musical skills by accompanying his school choir and church worship teams. He later resumed classical piano study when accepted into the Bachelor of Music program at the University of Victoria, studying under Steinway Artist Arthur Rowe. He later transferred to the University of British Columbia School of Music, completing his degree under the guidance of Dr. Corey Hamm and Michelle Mares.
An award-winning performer, Solomon has received recognition at the Burnaby Clef and Kiwanis music festivals, as well as the Grace Swannell Memorial Scholarship in Piano. He specializes in classical music, with a particular admiration for the Romantic works of Chopin and Liszt, while also drawing inspiration from video game music, notably the compositions of Nobuo Uematsu.
Currently based in Richmond, Solomon is dedicated to teaching piano, sharing his passion for music, and cultivating a love of musical expression in his students.

Dan Mou

Dan Mou is an accomplished violinist and dedicated educator with a distinguished international career. She earned three Master’s degrees with honors from the Stuttgart State University of Music and Performing Arts, in Instrumental Performance (Violin), Chamber Music Performance, and New Music Performance, studying under Anke Dill. In recognition of her outstanding academic achievements, she received scholarships from the German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), the Gert Volker Dill Educational Foundation, and the Ludwigsburg Schloss Festspiel. She further refined her artistry through masterclasses with renowned violinists such as Shmuel Ashkenasi and Nora Chastain.
During her professional career in Germany, Dan was a member of the Violin I section of the Southwest German Radio Symphony Orchestra (SWR Symphonieorchester) and served as deputy leader of the Violin II section of the Giessen Opera House Orchestra. In China, she performed with the Violin II section of the National Centre for the Performing Arts Orchestra. A passionate chamber musician, she has collaborated with professors and artists including Anke Dill (violin), Florian Wiek, Andrea Darzins, and Brotbeck (cello), performing works such as Brahms’ chamber music throughout her studies and career.
Beyond performing, Dan is a dedicated violin teacher, working with students of all ages and levels. She developed the High Efficiency Practice Method, designed to maximize the quality of practice. Her students have earned top honors, including First Prize in the German National Youth Music Competition “Jugend musiziert.”
After more than 20 years of living and working in Germany, Dan Mou moved to Richmond in the summer of 2024 with her family, where she continues to perform, teach, and share her passion for the violin.

Lance Ryan is a Canadian operatic tenor based in Germany since 2005. He is internationally recognized for his performances as Siegfried in Wagner’s Der Ring des Nibelungen, appearing at the Bayreuth Festival, and has sung leading roles in Verdi’s Otello and Britten’s Peter Grimes.
Born in White Rock, Ryan studied music and classical guitar at Douglas College and the University of British Columbia, where he began voice training. He continued his studies in Europe under Italian tenors Gianni Raimondi and Carlo Bergonzi.
In Germany, he performed at major houses including the Badisches Staatstheater Karlsruhe, Hessisches Staatstheater Wiesbaden, and the Frankfurt Opera, as well as international festivals such as the Salzburg Festival. In 2019, he joined the faculty of the Vancouver Royal Conservatory, continuing to teach and perform internationally.
Sheliza Virani
Sheliza is a passionate brass musician and music educator currently pursuing her B.Mus at the University of British Columbia, where she studies under renowned trumpet player Alan Matheson. Sheliza is passionate about helping students build confidence in their creativity, and strong musical foundations. As a Trumpet player, she has extensive experience performing in wind bands and chamber ensembles, and enjoys working with students of all ages and levels.
As both a performer and a teacher, Sheliza is committed to creating a supportive and engaging environment where students can develop their technical skills, while also exploring their own musical voice. She believes music education should be inspiring, rewarding, and tailored to each student’s individual goals.
In addition to her teaching and studies, Sheliza is actively involved in the local music community and is committed to fostering a lifelong appreciation of music in her students.
Jack Chen B.Mus, ARCT
Jack Chen is a versatile pianist, vocalist, music producer, songwriter, and composer. He graduated from Berklee College of Music with a double major in Electronic Production & Design and Contemporary Writing & Production, with piano as his principal instrument. His studies provided extensive experience in music production, songwriting, audio engineering, arranging, and composition.
After graduation, Jack moved to Los Angeles, where he worked as a music producer and engineer with industry veterans such as JP Negrete (Flo Rida, David Guetta, Martin Garrix, Jason Derulo) and Kev Luu (Lil Wayne, Celine Dion, Britney Spears, Tyga).
As a pianist, Jack has completed the ARCT diploma from the Royal Conservatory of Music and performs across multiple genres, including Classical, pop, R&B, and rock. As a vocalist, he has performed in bands, choirs, and a cappella groups.
Jack’s teaching philosophy focuses on fostering a student’s passion for music through structured, engaging lessons. He emphasizes fun, exploration, and creativity, inspiring students to develop a lifelong love for music.
