Jinmei Huang Founder & Director, Vancouver Royal School of Music Jinmei Huang is an accomplished pianist, educator, and arts leader with over 20 years of teaching and performance experience. She is the Founder and Director of Vancouver Royal School of Music, where she is dedicated to providing high-quality music education in a supportive and inspiring environment. Ms. Huang holds a Master of Music in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music in New York and a Bachelor of Music from the China Conservatory of Music. She previously served as the Music Director of the Peking University Opera Academy and has also taught in New York public schools, working with students from diverse cultural backgrounds. Throughout her career, Ms. Huang has helped students of all ages achieve outstanding success in RCM examinations, music festivals, competitions, auditions, and university admissions. Many of her students have earned first-place awards, scholarships, and acceptance into prestigious music programs. As an educator, Ms. Huang believes that every child has unique musical potential. Her teaching philosophy combines strong technical training with creativity, confidence, and a lifelong appreciation for music. She is passionate about building a school where students not only develop excellent musicianship but also grow into confident, expressive, and well-rounded individuals. In addition to teaching, Ms. Huang is an active adjudicator and frequently collaborates with professional musicians and educators. She continues to mentor young performers while expanding innovative music programs that include piano, violin, cello, voice, composition, ear training, and chamber music.
